I run a Support Group for people with Diabetes in Durban, South Africa. We really envy you all - your treatment and medication is so much better than ours.
As a Christian i feel it is my duty to educate as many people as possible, often without any remuneration - but one complication is one too many. I know God will bless what i believe is actually a Ministry. My husband Bill is the Diabetic in my life (although my grandfather, dad and both brothers were all Type 2's) i have managed, with God's help, to keep mine at bay with exercise and diet. I thank God every day that Bill was diagnosed as we live a far better and healthier life as a result of it. Without God's help we would never have made it.
Glad to be part of your group - the photo is with our youngest grandson - Ethan now 5!!

hi,seeing my own profile, you see I am a moslem,we all beleive in one GOd who created the whole universe.
yes, whenever I diagnose a kid with diabetes and see the despair allover his parents face, first thing I would say that we have to accept GOd's will and thank him then with all of us as a team can help the child to lead a normal life while controlling his diabetes.I do the same with parents and children with other conditions I deal with.
I found that relegion give peace and comfort and it create positive attitude.

Hello everyone this is Barbara Latragna I am type 2 but just started insulin. Trying to figure out amount of insulin and oral meds. I am having problems with lows in the afternoons but still having highs in morning but less than it was. I would like to talk to with other Christians diabetics and see if they have any tips for me concerning adjusting meds and how they deal with living with this bump in the road. Barbara
