Hello Everyone!
Laurie, I'm 42 and I was having nightsweats and so my Endo put me on Evamist which is HRT and it's not affecting my b/g's at all. The nightsweats have stopped, too!

I am searching for a new doctor. I was hoping that someone who lives in the northern Lake County, IL. area could refer me to a GREAT Endocrinologist. I'm hoping to find a female doctor this time, as well. If you have someone to recommend, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Lynn

Hello ladies. I am curious about diabetes and menopause...any voices of experience out there? I've got some off & on sypmtoms suggestive of peri-menopause, which I'm not sure of yet, but it makes me wonder how this will affect my sugars when the time comes for me. Does hormone replacement therapy affect glucose levels? I think perhaps this could be tricky....
