I atteneded a boot camp this morning sponsored by the local ADA and Atheletic Nation. It was held at Stone Oak Park in San Antonio. It will be held Saturdays 11/14,21,28 & Dec 5th. It is FREE, so any diabetic should come join in next Saturday. It starts at 8:00-9:30.
I am one tired puppy, but it was fun and worth going for.

Hi all.... I am actually from oklahoma, but live in brownwood tx for several years actually live there when dx'd. Anyway I am closer to dallas as I am only 30 miles east of hwy 69/75, than I am to OKC or Tulsa.

Does anyone know of any support groups for young kids and parents in the Dallas area? Or play groups?

Dori, I know of a T2 support group in Richardson if your interested. They meet at the Richardson hospital the first Tuesday of each month I usually have the phone number handy but I cant find it. But you should be able to find the phone number for the hospital easy enough and they can transfer you to someone who can give you more info.

Any T2s in the Dallas area want to get together?

For all T1's in the Dallas area (or those who would like to drive in) we will be having a T1 support group meeting on Oct 6th at the Fuddruckers located at the tollway and Frankford. We will meet at 6:00 and if you need any more information just send me an email.

So if you feel like your the only T1 in the world come on out and let us show you your not alone.
