I called Accu-Chek and they are sending me the cable and software to hook up to my computer...And yes I had to whine a little!!!!

Tony,,

it has been my experience that if you call Accu-check they will send you one. You have to whine a little bit, but I don't know a soul who hasn't gotten one with a telephone call.

Does anyone know where to get an offer like the OneTouch or Freestyle meters, but for a free Accu-chek aviva?

Thanks

Meters are not prescribe items, you can give it away. If your insurance covers them like many do, only for coverage purpose you need a prescription, besides that, no need for a prescription like for insulin.
