Thanks Robert! Good to be on here and I look forward to hearing from all of you. I'm always interested in the current research, and greatful to have a condition which is getting numerous grants to undergo the research. One day soon they'll sort it out - and in the meantime the equipment we use on a daily basis is getting better too.

See you around here soon. Nic

Welcome Nic great to see folks from the Land of the Long White Cloud represented.
Great site you have , good info and was interested in the current research on islet/pig cells, let us hope this technology doesn't get developed, sold and buried like lots of other great concepts, the Sarich engine and others.

Hi everyone.... Shop at coles this Friday 13th (yikkies) to help support the bushfire Appeal...

Coles will donate this Friday’s (13 Feb) profits from its 750 stores nationally to the Government’s Bushfire Appeal Fund in partnership with the Red Cross.

Cheers
Christina

Hi ya, We are ok here the closest fire has been about 20mins away that was just a small one.. I'm pretty much in shock of the number of deaths so far and its just not getting any better.. :-( It takes me back to Ash Wednesday 1983 were I was very close to it all, and was moved away from home just in case watching this happen has brought tears to my eyes and my thoughts go out to the families who have lost everything homes & family members as well and the guys in the CFA etc who are still out there working hard... !
