I got mine back in July it was 8.1 still trying but......Oh well! HA!!!

OMG! Guys my A1C was 10.4, in Jan. I cried at the doctors office. I go back at the end of this month, July. I'm just not looking forward to it at all.

I do 60 carbs a day. Lots of veggies, lots! I also have 4 other auto immune dissorders to deal with. Agh!

Hey guys can I join? I used to have mine like 6.5 but for the last year it's been 8.1 that was until May 13 and then it was at 9.4!!!! Why? I really don't know I thought I was doing everything right but according to that I'm not! Maybe it's just that having Type 1 for almost 35 years now my body has decided to react bad! I don't know but like I told my Dr's nurse it seems like when I try to control it it controls me!!!! Maybe I should go back to doing this stuff my way??? HA!

The last time I got my A1C tested it was something like 9.5....

That was almost a year ago... Haven't gotten it checked since... I'm sure its gotten worse...

I've been in the 11 - 14 range for the last 16 months. Start the day at 250 average bg. Go figure! Just changed Drs and more tests are being run to see what else might be wrong as I was starving myself trying to keep to 50 carbs or less per day.
Obviously that plan wasn't working...50 carbs a day, 4 meds and still a high A1c.
Now adding Lantus 7 units a day to the meds, plus adding carbs - roughly 60 per meal til we get my weight back to 100 lbs.
How am I supposed to relax under these conditions?
