Lots of good stories and concerns here...Am I the only active duty person with diabetes here? I found out 10/30/06, and fought for a year to stay in. Now I continue to wait, hopefully I can "fly" one of the unmanned vehicles (Predators), but we'll see! TRICARE can be a pain sometimes, but persistence pays off. I'm still waiting to hear back about the CGMS, but I know a couple others that have it, so it should go through. If anybody has any ?'s let me know!

Hello all. I work with the ADA and also am a Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR) and my office is Veteran Affairs Committee. Because both ADA and DAR are important to me I am interested in knowing if any of you know of someone who is deployed and might need some items. We are sponsorsing soldiers this year and have the funds to send what they might need. Please contact me individually if there is anyway I can help out on behalf of DAR.
