Hello! I have been on the pump for almost 3 years. I have been diabetic since I was a teenager, on insulin, and have always struggled with my weight. I seem to be back on the downward movement again - the key is sticking with it and this groups seems like a great opportunity :) Losing 25 lbs is my first goal.

Hi - I have been on the pump for 1 year in July, and am currently in the process of quitting smoking. I have gained 40lbs this last year - and hate every one of them. My work is currently having a "pedometer challenge" - I have joined the challenge and am having a lot of fun with it. The only cost is the pedometer, and walk is cheap...;o) Good going to you Karl for quitting smoking - for me - smoking is as much a part of my everyday thoughts as diabetes is - and wouldn't life be so much better without either one... aaarrrrggghhhhh

Hello everyone, I am also new to this group. I need to loose a lot of weight and get back into shape. I keep loosing the same 15 lbs over and over again. (-: I quit smoking for good over four years ago and that was a very long process. (a five year struggle) I kicked the smoking habit/addiction so I know I can somehow get back into shape. HELP! lol
