How did you find out about us? What were you searching for?
My name is Cheyenne, I do not have diabetes, but do work in Healthcare IT. One of the biggest sites I'm responsible for is http://www.caringfordiabetes.com . Even though the site is intended more for doctors I wanted to sign up with a community and find out ways that I can continue to help those who either personally or have family members living with diabetes.

I am curious to know what resources are out there, and more importantly what resources are not out there that could help people out.

I also write a blog where one of my focuses is Healthcare IT at www.cheyennejack.com

I found this site some time ago, I think through their YouTube channel, and finally decided to join in on the conversation
What do you do for a living?

Hallo Cheyenne Jack
Thank you very much for adding me as a friend. I will go through your site and page.IDF is the one who sent us the address of this amazing community. Diabetes is one of the diseases that those who have it have to do the hard work themselves as it takes over the daily living tasks small or big. I am amazed by the members, their knowledge, dedication and support of each other.......

Hi Cheyenne Jack

I added about 850 of those sites to the diabetes search engine. I like to vet them before I add them to make sure they're legit. David Edelman and Manny have also added some sites, so we're up to 1,200. The search engine has been up for about 14 months, so it's surprisingly easy to add several sites a week.

I'm going to look at your blog and caring for diabetes sites and see if I should add those also.

If you're interested in creating a CSE, I wrote an O'Reilly article about that last year that explains the basics.

The diabetes search engine is actually used in several places, so if you'd like to embed it let me know if you need any help. The more people that use it, the more revenue that goes to support Dr. Faustman's great work.

Oh, and welcome to TuDiabetes.

Hi Cheyenne Jack,
Thank you for the support and encouragement. The thing that makes our family so wonderful is the loving caring support for each other. Maybe you and I haven't exactly talked, but in our hearts we share our world. I apprecaite it so much. I am no longer afraid. I think that receiving so much loving kindness from our big family has made me realize all the more that God really does hold each of us in the palm of his hand. Through all of you He has reminded me that I am not alone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Blessings be to you.

Hey Cheyenne, welcome here! One thing you can share with the healthcare community is the importance of support. Although I've been t1 for 16 years now, and am complication free, this site has been a wealth of new ideas and support for me.
