A Short line about me:


I have been a Diabetes Type2 since August 2004. I have tried Avandia, Amaryl, Avandamet, Glipizide, Metformin and Januvia over the course of 4 ½ years trying to get my Blood Sugar levels to a consistent low. But all this has been to no avail. And in February of 2009, I went to a new Endocrinologist and she took me off of EVERYTHING and started me on Humalog, Lantus and small doses of Metformin. In the last 6 weeks, my levels have never been this low.

The Eli Lily rep who taight the Byetta classes I attended said not to worry about the air bubble. It does rise to the top when the pen is held vertically, needle down, and poses not problem. The only trouble I've had with the pen is several drops...
