Aidan is going to be starting Kindergarten in the Fall, and I have to admit, I am starting to get kind of nervous. He goes to a great school -- very small, intimate, caring. They have always taken excellent care of him. But all-day Kindergarten is a new ball game, and counting carbs at lunch -- yikes!

The aide for his new teacher was promoted, and I don't know the details yet about a new aide. Hopefully there wil be one, and hopefully he/she will be as detail-oriented as the old one wa

Hi Lauren, nice to meet you! I see you used to live in Putnam Valley, we live in New Rochelle, Westchester, but moved here from Switzerland.

I can understand your feelings about the start of kindergarten, which in itself is such a big milestone in your kids live and then to combine that with diabetes!!!

After my daughter was diagnosed (04/07) it was hard for me to let her do anything without me - and she was afraid too, because she remembered all to well how she felt before dx.

I am just sick of this whole D thing. I only test maybe 1 or 2 times a day and thats usually morning and bedtime. I havent seen my endo in 3 years because I didnt have health insurance (I just got it a few weeks) ago and plus I hate the endo with a passion ( read my newest blog). I am a Pumper. last 5 years. I know I need to test but I dont feel like it. even if it does only take a few questions
