Is Your Diabetes That Bad?

I went to dinner at a friend's house last night and there was a guest that had knowledge of diabetes (it ran rampant in his family, type 2 i believe though) and he asked me

Is Your Diabetes That Bad?

when he saw my insulin pump. I find it interesting that people will link the insulin pump to a severe case of diabetes...

15 Things to Be Thankful for

I'm trying to turn my attitude around where my diabetes is concerned and so this year, I've started myself a new tradition, every thanksgiving I'm going to make a list of things I'm thankful for in terms of my diabetes. The list has to be as long as the number of years that I've been a diabetic.

That is great that you are on the team with Mari. I need to get busy training. I box on the Wii, but that just isn't enough of a workout.

Hi Coutney,

I used to live in Albq and went to Eldorado. My dad worked for Intel in Rio Rancho. I saw a pediatric endocrinologist at Lovelace, Dr. Kaufman. She was great. I called her last May when I was in Albq. It was nice to talk with her.

I also would work at the ADA diabetes camp in northern New Mexico which was fun.
