Hi Jade, I was diagnosed at 10 years old. I have had the big D for 38 years. It sounds like you have a level head on your shoulders...just take care of yourself and everything will be fine! Have you thought about an insulin pump....I have worn one...

hi robin. i finally return. i even put an album on my page. you asked about what i do - this picture of me is what i do. dress like a baglady & do shows or bdays, businesses, etc. 20 years now. at the end of show i change to myself - sort of - i give the message that we need to remember not to judge others by how they appear on the outside. never able to get the pump but still trying.

Hi Robin,

Yep, I've been in Carolina all my life. Grew up in eastern NC, spend a couple years in Raleigh, and then have been in CH for 9 years. I may move to Durham next year, but I really like the triangle area. Congratulations and good luck with the wedding next weekend. How exciting!

Best,
Carolyn

thinking of you often as well and so appreciate the prayers and well wishes.
well, it's been eventful, we're back in the U.S. now seeking possible treatments for my mom. been very busy with all of us and hard to keep up as there are 9 of us sharing this little laptop. but now that things are more settled I should be around more often.
I hope all is well with you and your family! Peace and Blessings to all!
