Hi, I just joined this site, and I'm still getting to know everyone, I added an event for people with diabetes and is going to be at Montgomery college, if you are interested in attending just check out the event page, and if you know other people who may be interested please help me spread the word.
Thank you :)

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly again...I hear yau on the insurance issue...I think my insurance company is finally on board with paying for it all now...but I am still not a big fan...and like you said at this point I would be looking for something smaller (which is what my initial impression was that it would be). I understand that the OmniPod is an all-in-one...where it tests BG levels and delivers insulin...I have received a proto-type to "experiment" with...but still haven't tried it...have you heard any feedback on that...either negative or positive? Thanks again :)

Hiyas Tony...thank you for the welcome...I have been using the pump since 1997 and love it and the freedom it gives me. Last year I tried the continuous glucose testing device with my Paradigm and had many issues and problems with it...including placement and the sensor not properly communicating with my pump. I was curious what your feelings were on it and your experience/knowledge on it.

Would you recommend the pump for imbalance sugars? I can not seem to control my blood sugars with Lantis and Humalog. What made you switch them?

Tony-
When were you diagnosed? I laughed out loud (and, I'm at work!) about your "peeing on the stick" comment in the "You know you're diabetic when...". Thank you for making me smile (OUT LOUD!)

Hey Tony, I was curious to know, how much do you usually cut back on your basal when you are exercising/woring outetc? I'll be getting back to my post-pump workout regimen soon and would appreciate the advice. Thanks!
