My work on the Diabetes Hands Foundations
If you have any questions, ideas, comments or concerns about the community please do not hesitate on contacting me. I am always looking for better ways to connect our initiatives with your needs as members of this community. (our members)
A little bit more about my work on DHF: As an officer and staff member and I am in charge of overseeing the design for our online communities (TuDiabetes.com and EsTuDiabetes.com), developing and implementing branding strategies including web design, logo design, marketing and advertising collateral, printed promotional materials and retail merchandise products. (yes, we are working on this) I am also in charge of developing and implementing our awareness initiatives unit, (word in your hand, drawing diabetes, newsletter, etc) involving the community by means of art and/or design projects. Manuel (Manny) and I work together on fundraising, general operations and administrative tasks.
Separate from this, I am artist, owner of Evolve Art Studio. I am from Venezuela, went to College there for Architecture, and in 2003 graduated from a MSD on Interior Design (ASU, AZ). Currently, I live with my husband and son in the Bay Area, CA.

I hope you are well. If you remember I am currently living in Guatemala but have decided to return to the Bay Area where I am from. I'll be back and living in Berkeley at the end of July. I believe you are located in the East Bay? I would love to volunteer for Diabetes Hands. I also plan after I settle in on starting a diabetic support group. (I'm a retired therapist). I haven't decided the details yet (the move is enough for me to think about now!) But I hope to let you know when I do!

Today I am writing from our new house in Palo Alto, as you may know we moved from
Orlando during the holiday, and still re-organizing everything in my
