Long time ago you asked me how long I've been a diabetic, and how long I've had a pump. I just put an essay on my home page which answers these!

Hey Denise! How's it going and what's it like in Las Vegas (have you met up with Danny yet?).
BTW, I am reading the Twilight series right now - on the 3rd book of 4 - so good - so hard to put down - but now I'm also reading one of Dr. Bernstein's books - and man oh man - is that interesting as well - not sure about the low carb thing he pushes - but overall - he makes alot of sense with how to control your BG's - a man ahead of his time.
Okay, off to see what's happening with Bella and Edward before I hit the hay! Take care!

Denise I just read a comment from you on Joe's siet. Yes, you must take your synthroid at the same time every day and it must be taken by itself - with no other meds or food. Otherwise, they will have problems determining an accurate dosage.

Well thank you for the happy birthday, it has been a while and for some reason, I just don't even think about checking this to see if I have messages. Things are good for me, not hurt anymore so that is good so back to work, which isn't as much fun as being off and being able to do what I want to do instead of going to work. Other then that not much is different, Just living and working now and loving all of it, well maybe not the work as much :) So how are things with you? What you been up to lately? Hope to talk to you soon.

hey denise, its ok its summer time and people are busy..I understand. I am doing pretty good, I actually just started the ping yesterday!! I have been wearing a full 24 hrs now. yesterday I was pretty much all day, so we adjusted my basal and I:C so things were going better. but then before lunch I was 57, so I guess it has to be lowered even more! I love it so far though. the first few hours were pretty weird, but I am definately loving not having to take shots anymore =) how long have you been on it now?

hiiiii Denise. How is your Summer going? Vegas still good for you? =) I have only been on a few vacations this year and am headed down the Jersey Shore for a few days.

I am good! I am tired!!!

hmmmmm, long disconnects? it's okay after a bolus, I don't like more than an hour if I am on basal only (havent eaten in 4 hours), but hey what ever is working for you =)

yea the synthroid and your blood sugars may be related. I would think being way low on thyroid would cause you to use more insulin but that's why I am not a doctor. I weigh about 165 and take 150 micros. I don't worry too much about eating or whatever, I just take it with my other stuff before bed... it's been working for me (stable for 4-5 years now). too little thyroid is no good for your skin and it can make you tired and it can make weight control tough - a touch low is nothing to be worried about. no sweat just take a l;ittle more=)

off to the beach... now where did i put my SPF 90?

Hey girl! I have been busy with a new project so I haven't been here on tu as much as usual. I partnered up with Bill, AKA 1happydiabetic, to redo his site. He does funny YouTube videos so we wanted to use his site to have a one stop shop for all his videos and the responses people do. I started vlogging because of him so it was a natural fit for us to partner up. Check out the site here if you get a chance, we'd love to have you as a member! Other than that I have been job hunting, no luck so far!
