OMG Rick, how on earth can you remember all the little details. I am amazed. I also liked the movie. And yes, the relationship deal was really something to contemplate. I think I'd agree with the 4.

Hi, I'm Kathy. I also go by Minnesota Nice over on the OC.
I have had diabetes for 35 years and not always taken good care of myself. Things have gotten better, though, and in spite of some complications, I consider myself to be in reasonable health. I also feel that it's never too late for improved control.
I deal with disordered eating issues daily.
I began blogging on the OC about 2 years ago and it has been immensely helpful - sharing victories, defeats and plain ordinary living with other pwd's has been a gift.
So far, I've enjoyed Tu Diabetes and love just stopping by for a second to comment on a discussion.
Things have changed a lot since '74. Each day I am thankful for the advances that have made my life better, and look forward for many more improvements to come.

Robyn and Kathy,
I read an interesting quote from Sound and Vision magazine. For people who like music "The Beatles are why we all know each other."

Kathy! Check out this radio station. http://www.kociradio.com/

Hi Kathy!
I believe it was Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band. I think the year was 1968 I had just turned 6yrs. that December. He also took me to a "Blood,Sweat and Tears" concert on a night he was babysitting me.....I remember sitting in a circle on the floor with my brother and friends of his....I think they were getting high....LOL I just remember loud music and lots of long haired people! Oh, what memories I have of him....he was one of a kind.: If it was not that album, I did get it from him at sometime.

Hi Kathy, Have you been to wolfgangsvault.com? You should check it out. Plenty of Van Morrisons concert. If that is not the correct site, use a search engine.

I think it's time to watch "The Last Waltz" again. I need to get it on DVD.

I love anything from St. Dominic's Preview, like "Almost Independence day". when we lived in San Francisco, I used to love hearing the foghorns at night in the distance, just like in the song. He was a master with the horns and the gitaurs.
