The strength to write a book.

Tonight, I rally up inside me to find the strength in me to write a book about child abuse, molestation, rape, torture, homelessness, domestic violence, alcoholism, drugs, teenage marriage, teenage pregnancy, and finally putting the people involved in prison. The list goes on, but my thirstyness for life is what keeps me going and my strong belief in God.

I believe the trauma in my life is what made me diabetic. To write this book, it will open a wider look into this wide range of abuse. The af… Continue

Son back home from Iraq

Here I am promising to let you all know that my son is back from Iraq. I have 3 weeks of vacations from work and I'm trying to see what weeks will be good to take so that I can travel to Washington to see my son. Back from Iraq to Washington were he is stationed.
It's been months since I saw him, but we kept in touch via email. Now I don't have to worry so much, kinda relax a little bit. I do belong to a website called NavyMoms, I'll be letting them know that he is safe and home in Washington.
I… Continue

The compassion for volunteering

I have this urge to write today, about the compassion for volunteering and advocating. I can't really tell you when I started to help others. I know I was really young, maybe before girls scouts or after. I have always had a procedure to do things the right way or it's nothing at all. I carry that with me when I see people in need around me.

When I'm on this site, it makes me feel so wholesome to greet and interact with others whether for support, to write, or have an open ear for them I'll be… Continue

If only I knew.....Day 2 The miracle of prayin

It's Sunday morn at 8 am, the Radiologist comes and takes me to do the 20 minute c-scan on my heart than takes me back to my room to wait for the tech to take me to the 'Stress Test'. That was at 11:10am when the tech came and got me, the experience was awful. When the med came in me it put so much pressure on me, I couldn't talk and it was hard to breath. Finally, the 5mins went thru to were they took the med insertion out. Had to explain what I felt, and than they took me back to my room. Ther… Continue

If only I knew......Day 1

Here I am at the Northwest Seton Hospital, now my second night. I was admitted with chest pains to the heart and extreme headache pains. After waiting a couple of hours in the ER, my mother appeared with my brother and his fiance. My husband started to explain to my family what was going on.
The nurse came in, knowing that my mother was there to give some family history. History that I did not know about. She said that my grandfather died of a heart attack, it was his third by the age of 40. My… Continue

Hi Patti!
It was good to hear from you =] How have you been doing? Everything well with you?
The pictures are easy. If you click on the pic it will take you to another site. You find a pic you want and there will be a html code. You just post that code on a page and you will have you picture =]
Hope you are doing good. Write back soon =]

Patti I don't know if you can help. I'm having a hard time using this website. The chat doesn't go by topics so much as the first line of someones comment. I've got questions. For example. one of my little toes doesn't work. I thought it was hammer toe, but now, from what I'm reading on line, it does not seem to be. I'm sure it's to do with the neuropathy, but I don't know what it is and I don't know how to deal with it. My toes try to cramp and I work the cramp out and try to exercise them, is that enough. Can you direct me to someone who can answer my question, short of a local podiatrist? Thanks GG

ok I'll expect a TOC by the end of the month. If you like assignments I can manage that for you.;-)
TOC is table of contents for the book. An autobiography is a good idea, there aren't many for diabetics.
