Wow, you guys were way ahead of the Twitter trend announcing this news in 2007. Very cool.
Awesome, great talk. Thanks for the notes/vid, must have been great to meet Kerri. I'm sure I'll run into her someday.
Man, sounds awesome (i.e stuff I dream about :-D ). Yeah, if they can keep it open and interoperable that would be stupendous. We're working on our API finally btw, it was put off for way too long (among other things).
Hey Craig, Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
Hello everyone! I have just been diagnosed with diabetes type 1 and watched a whole lot of videos and read many books. It seems to me that going raw is the best solution. After I will return from my hospital stay in April, I will start detoxifying...

Added me on Facebook!

So, who else is on facebook? I know we don't need any more double/triple redundancy in our social network over-indulgence, but I figure a few of you are already there anyway :-)

New to the site, hows it going? :-)

Seems great, I love seeing new tools for diabetics coming up more and more.

A little about myself: 15+ year Type-1 diabetic. Grew up in San Diego / Hawaii but am now currently living/working out of Europe for the time being. I'm a total geek and love technology. I spend my days working on my company SugarStats.com, it's a web 2.0 app for diabetics to manage their blood sugars and diabetes completely online. It is a lot of work, but also a lot of… Continue

I have a question for you out of curiosity. I created DiabeticMommy.com, and I have about 5000 members in my forum.

I've been advocating the raw diet to my members and so far, have maybe inspired 2 to just try juicing a little more and a few to add more fresh vegetables and fruits. Have you had more success inspiring your members?

By the way, if you look at my site, it's getting updated, so we've let things slide this year lol.

Marston. Thanks so much for the subscription and the recommendation! I wasn't aware Dave was concerened about Dr. Cousens. I myself have a little issue with him using the word "cured" though. I haven't seen the documentary, but I hope to see it soon. Did you see it?

Marston, I was looking at some old topics and found your blog on juicing. I was wondering if I could ask you a couple questions, as I just bought a really good juicer thinking that it would be a good substitute when I didn't feel like eating or for snacks or protein drinks etc. I copied your one recipe you do in the morning but was wondering if you have any other combinations that worked for you. Also do you do protein shakes as well. I am looking for a good whey protein that I could use. By the way I saw you are the creator of Sugar Stats. That is a great tool for us diabetics. I use it faithfully print my graph for doc to see. She now has been telling all her diabetic patients about it as well. Thanks

Dear Marston, I apologize for the very tardy reply and I thank you for your kind welcome. My organization, the FAIR (Fair Allocations in Research) Foundation is working to reverse the unfairness in NIH bio-medical research allocations that now have $3,052 being spent on each HIV patient $39 on each diabetic. It is our goal to become large enough with over 100,000 members to be able to lobby effectively for fairer allocations and that is why we hope you will come and join FAIR—there is no charge to add your name to our database, which is private; it is never shared or sold. Indeed, we exhibit at ADA Expos where, on average, a 4 renal patient or their family member joins FAIR every 3 to 4 minutes for six hours, not only in support of our effort for fairer research allocations but also for new organ-donor policies. With 75,000 on the waiting list for a kidney today and 400,000+ more on dialysis but not even on the list, altruism alone is clearly not meeting the demand. Equally important is our desire that all members of tudiabetes.com, not only join FAIR, but urge the ADA, NKF, etc and other organizations to bring their members under our umbrella. We provide a welcoming email to new members so they can do this easily. When we all unite, we will effect change much quicker. We invite you to our new charts at http://www.fairfoundation.org/update.htm. The slice for diabetes is woefully insufficient.
Thanks again for your kind welcome!
