started the pump

I started my pump today at 10am. I had a few issues with the infusion set sticking but it got figured out. I went a little low twice so far, so I guess the trainer was right about needing less insulin than with shots, I thought I would be high all day, but not the case . Hopefully tonight goes well. I am excited about not doing a shot before every morsel of food. Any tips from fellow pumpers on anything would be great. Thanks

Make use of the diabetes nurse educator as much as you can reach her/him. But for now, read the books that come with the pump. What kind of pump did you get? What color?

Others have mentioned nifty patches. Are they available for the QuickSet on Medtronic Paradigm 722?
