TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

That warm and fuzzy feeling when you join TuDiabetes

It's hard to believe: it's already July 2009! Time flies... and with time, the TuDiabetes family keeps on growing. We are seeing new members join us every day and, for those of you who have been around the community longer, you may remember how the experience of joining feels like. There normally are a bunch of us crazy TuDiabetes members saying hi and pointing you in the direction you can go (groups you can join things you can do) when you are starting to make sense of the site upon joining.

Lately, we've seen a bit of a slowdown in terms of welcomes... and it's hard to keep up with so many new people joining the family. So, I am just writing a brief blog post to ask you to please take a chance every time you see someone new join and please say hi to them and include useful links/groups for them in the community on their comment wall.

If you want to (you don't have to, but it's a cool place for all "Welcomers" to share tips and ideas) you can also join the Welcome Committee. Here is a video that tells a bit more about the committee and what it entails:
