You would think he would listen

to his wise, sage infinitely smart mother. : P Morgan's blood sugar continued to rise after basketball practice last night. By the time he went to bed at 9pm, he was 500+ with a ton of active insulin. I asked him if his site had failed? "no I just changed it Sunday" He said with a lot of attitude. So I check him at 10 and he had come down some, but decided to check again at 11:30. It is always nice to have a welcoming 'HI' at that time of night. I knew his site had failed, but waking him to do a site change was just going to increase the chances of another failure: he would want to do it himself, and he would not be awake. So I gave him an injection and checked a couple of hours later. At least at 1:30 he was down below 300.

I told him this morning, to change out his site. He complained and groaned, but ultimately realized that Mom was right....AGAIN
