I think on page 2 or 3 someone mentioned that they run dual O/S on their Mac and that it works great for using things such as this USB device that only works with windows.

Thanks, for your input, but no one specifically discusses successful use of the Carelink USB running Windows XP with either Parallels or VMWare on a Macintosh. They only discuss the option of doing so.

I have used the Carelink cable with Parallels so I see no reason that the Carelink USB wouldn't work.

Now I use Boot Camp, which I prefer to Parallels. No problems there.

I have used the Carelink USB with Windows XP on Parallels. It works well. It certainly works a heck of a lot better than the cable ever did.

I just have to remember that Carelink only works with IE on windows and not Firefox. For a java based web app, Carelink is pretty limited to only work with IE on windows and not Firefox on either windows or mac. It shouldn't be that much more effort to test and certify the app to run so that you have more OS and browser options.

I use the carelink with firefox.

I use Carelink with Firfox as well. Works great, you just have to ignore the initial warning message saying that you need to use IE.

Just created an account for the online store but can't find any trace of the CareLink USB. Do you think the offer has been discontinued or does it get shipped out automatically with any order?

They will send it if you have a pump. or call them , and they will check. The letter I got said by June 30th, so they have 6 more weeks to get it to everyone.
