Medtronic was showcasing a concept car at ADA2008 with a glucose monitor embedded in the dashboard.

Love the very generic concept...

Not a fan of the guaranteed long term implications...

"...car will not turn itself on, until your sugar is 80 or above..."

"...vehicle will not drive while your sugar is reading HI..."

Hey guys, its a bad reading caused by low temprature....
Bad reading caused by Stuart's dirty fingers with just a little icing he didn't realize was still on there. Etceteria, etceteria.

Meaningful concerns...

What ever they do don't let the Brits see this. I'm already in a dozen different databases, have to get doctors approval every three years to get a drivers license and I'm treated like a deceased animal by the government.

They would love to force something like this on me. I can see it now.
