True or False Game


I am going to post something about the next poster. The person who posts after me will say "true" or "false" regarding my statement about them. Then they will post something about the person who will be posting after them and so on and so forth until we find a cure......OK here we go:

The thyroid burns out eventually and you become hypothyroid LInda. Yes you would think one autoimmune disease would be enough but...NOOOOO....lol

Morning Flo....I suppose having one autoimmune disorder makes you rather susceptible to others....do extremes in weather play havoc on this? Do the symptoms of hypothyroidism overlap with those of diabetes? By the by....I see that you reside in Pittsburgh....Pensylvania, right?....Amish country, is it not?...The area I live in (Kitchener, in Ontario) has a strong German influence ( though not a ounce of it in me!)...and we're smack dab in Mennonite country.

The next person's B.S/B.P. rises in tune to the level of stress he/she is exposed to unless they're already low, in which case only the B.S. keeps going down.

Well, since I count carbs and don't eat the same thing every day, I guess I changed my dose, unless you mean changed my insulin/carb ratio, which I did not.

The next person has given themselves a glucagon injection (I don't know if I could do it - gosh that needle is big)

True!! Not only have I read it I have called Eli Lilly and asked them a question regarding their literature!!

The next person uses NPH.

False. My last NPH shot was a one-time-deal between Lantus and the pump.

The next person frequently tests their blood sugar at night by the light of their insulin pump.
