Event Description

The artificial pancreas is the newest development for improving diabetes care. The JDRF, FDA, and the National Institutes of Health are partnering together to present vital information about this vital development in diabetes care.

The live podcast begins on July 21, 2008 at 8 AM-6 PM Eastern Time and on July 22, 2008 at 8 AM-1 PM Eastern Time.

The videos will be archived a week after the live broadcast.

The Artificial Pancreas Project is on the FDA critical path initiative. The Critical Path Initiative is FDA's effort to stimulate and facilitate a national effort to modernize the scientific process through which a potential human drug, biological product, or medical device is transformed from a discovery or "proof of concept" into a medical product.

Hope to see you there!
