Would you recommend using the Medtronic pump? I need to decide on which one to get for myself.

you are right. we all might have the "same" kind of condition, but we are all a different world, which takes me back to think how mcuh of an immune disorder diabetes is.
Stress can be addressed to a certain extent. the way i do is by doing meditation everyday for 20 minutes, breathing (funny enough, we humans take breathing for granted and we do not exercise it), sports and good diet (the anti-stress one). When i come back from my doctoral internship, addressing stress in people with diabetes will be one of the major foci in my practice. I am a believer in that stress is key component for control. I even found out that stress can be key for diabetes onset.
have a great day, and let me know if you need some specific ideas for stress.

what i found out and this might be off topic, is that my bolus never change. 1 potato 3 units as of 30 carb at the ratio of 1:10. Hoever, the basals, i have to change them according to the season. Here in Fort Worth with so much weed growing now in my backyard, my glucose soemtimes shoots up for no reason. Needless to say, my allergologist does not believe me. and another biggy is stress,,,that's the one i have control over..anyway..my two cents..thanks

Hi there! Thanks for accepting my add! I'm heather, by the way:) I see you are in a Symlin group, are you on symlin? How has it helped you? I'm planning on going on it when I turn 18 (my endo says you can't start it until you are 18). On a different note I'm looking forward to learning about you and your story! Feel free to chat anytime!
