Rick,
I believe i trie dto get in contact with you via another forum but was told that your email was full. I noticed on that site you were somewhat of an expert on CGM and insurance. I oculd use your help. Could you please contact me via jjflannery@comcast.net?
Hey Rick.... I was reading some of your advice on threads about the CGMS insurance denials. Your info is good stuff and I'll be taking it all in! I just bought a Dexcom 7, I also have BCBS Anthem, and am hoping for a quick approval, but I'm a good fighter if I get denied. =) Thanks!!
I just changed a sensor last night after 16 days. I think one of the tricks is to only calibrate when the sensor asks for it. I used to calibrate 3-4 times a day, now I only do it twice a day unless there's a substantial difference between the meter and the sensor.
If you are going to go back to the STS, I know they're planning to end production of it before too long. You may want to check with your local rep so you can stockpile those if you want to.

If you're going back to the Dexcom STS, do you want any of the shower covers? I've got 2 or 3 unused ones that I don't need. Drop me a note.
