Yeah, that whole tubeless thing is just a clincher isn't it?!! I also really like being able to set different basal programs for different days. I have one for "regular" days and one for days that I go to the gym right now. I may get even more specialized as time moves on. Especially with Summer coming!

Hi Jim! Nice to meet you. I recently started on the Omnipod. It's been almost four weeks. I used another pump many years ago and really disliked the whole tubing thing, especially clamping the tubing off for showering and such. This thing rocks! I am still going through a little bit of adjustment and some days are tricky but I am learning and things are really improving! I am looking forward to my next A1C!

hi jim,

oops, here you go

(hopefully that works now)

agree with you 100% about the awkwardness when you're out. i have to find a bathroom or some private place so i can test and inject, and it's such a hassle when i'm traveling and the bathrooms aren't always the cleanest.

Thanks, Jim! Lucky you, yours is covered 100%, but I'm not complaining at 80%. :) I didn't even consider a pump until now because I hated the idea of being stuck to a tube.

Thanks for the info about the new PDM...I haven't heard anything about it, and I have yet to get in contact with an Insulet rep who will give me any info on it. I did, however, find this:
I'm hunting around for more info though! Please keep us updated if this new PDA comes out; I will definitely bug them if I can get a free upgrade!
