Thanks for your kind words!!

Would you like me to send you some TuDiabetes 4x6 cards that you could give to people you run into or maybe share them with RN's and CDE's you meet with?

I love the "Howie" story. My girls say things like that too. My favorite is "I want bessert (dessert)."

I had a post awhile back asking for name suggestions, and Rickina came up with the winning names, Thelma and Louise. I figured since they're with me through thick and thin, I better give them names. My family knows them by those names too!

Thank you very much for the kind words. I have always been taught by the good book " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Here is wishing you and your family a blessed week.

Welcome Windy. I am new to the Dexcom too, and have been getting about 14 days out of each sensor. Seven seemed like such a boring name for my sensor, so I named it Louise, and my pump Thelma!

I checked out your blog and you have a beautiful family. I am also a busy mom to four kids, 3-16!

Yes that is my daughter, Brianna. I was 26 and the doctor said you can try again when your b/s are better. I just figured whatever would be wrong with her, God would help me deal with it. She was 5 weeks early and spent 8 days in ICU, it was touch and go, but she is here with me today!!!

Your A1C is good. Did you have any problems while pregnant? You were fortunate, you have 2 beautiful children. I was only lucky enough to have 1. She is 17. The doc tried to convince me to abort her b/c my b/s were unstable and they were afraid she would have birth defects. She is fine and I am so glad I didn't listen to them. I had 2 miscarriages after her. Take care.
