I had a chance to work for Dow in Midland, Michigan, but it got down to -30F in January. I just couldn't leave texas for that kind of cold........lol

At 3:28pm on July 31st, 2008, Carol Coombes said…: I was at the endo this morning for my 6 month check-up with him (I go to my family doctor at the 3 month time in between) and he was fairly pleased with the bg ratings. BUT my A1C was up to 6.5 (from6.2 in April) so I'm to up my novorapid at supper to cut down on the spikes at bedtime because he figures that is what upping the readings then. But to me the real problem is that I have developed mildly abnormal thyroid readings in the past year since I first was diagnosed and started to go to him. He is just going to watch it for now but does anyone have any ideas how I can get these readings back to normal range and so I don't have to take any more drugs. I seem to be starting down a slippery slope of complications. Thanks. Carol
