Hey Andrea! Thanks for your comment on my wall from a couple months ago (I am terrible about checking it - sorry!). How's your CGMS treating you?

Hi Andrea! Yes I did have a great pregnancy. If you just do what you are supposed to and really check your sugars a lot and make sure to go to the dr. as much as they tell you you will be just fine! Sometimes when I wasn't pregnant I would slack on checking my blood sugars cuz I have a pump, but when I was pregnant I checked very often. I wish you the best of luck and let me know how it goes! And if you have any questions, just ask...I will do what I can to help.

Thanks for checking out my blog...it's my mission to get this collection published so I won't stop until it's done! I totally remember stressing out about high bs while I was preggo....you can't help yourself. It's a tough time, a lot of work but of course also an amazing time and completly worthwhile!

Yes indeed! It's good not to be alone... thanks for your comment!! I have already gotten "too busy" for basal testing. So I postponed for two weeks. I've been postponing for more like two years though :( Time to get serious! Let me know how yours go!

Thank you kindly for your note, Andrea. I get so busy working on DiabetesMine.com, and with my kids, that I don't get to check back here as often as I'd like. But I so much appreciate your feedback, so thank you for taking the time to comment!!

Andrea,

Thank you so much. Even sending only a few spare items helps A LOT because they pool with others who also send things "here and there." It really adds up quickly!

I am stunned (in a good way) at how many people have donated this past year -- it has been the kindness and compassion of other people with diabetes that have supplied more than 85% of all our supplies to give to others.

Pumping with a CGMS? AWESOME NEWS! I will repeat the words of a teenager IPump.org helped get on an Ominpod "high-tech diabetes is sooo much better than low-tech diabetes."

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Lahle
