Love that attitude!!!!! My dr is still working, I don't know what I would do without him. Like you when I was a teen I KNEW IT ALL!!! Nobody could tell me nothing.........Didn't go to the dr for about 10 years then a sever kidney infection 2 weeks after marring my hubby sent me to the ER then a 2 week stay in the hospital. I met my dr there and haven't left him yet that was 24 years ago ! He gave me my 1st bs machine back in the 80's then when I got pg with my oldest daughter (3 years later he sent me to the man "who taught him all he knew about diabetes" and that dr put me on the MM And I stayed stil my oldest was born a year later I found out I was pg with my 2nd girl went back on it, in the early 90's done the pancres transplant it failed so I went back to the diabetes lifestyle. I don't even consider those years diabetic free even though I got to eat a "regular" diet b/c I was in the hospital 100 miles away from home about 3 weeks out of every month. HA! Too much med and too many times a day I had to take it! (long story there I had just as soon forget) It's all in my blog read it when you get time.
