Hi Kelly. Thank you for writing me. My daughter, Hannah, is 6 also. She will be 7 in August. She was diagnosed on Aug. 18th 2006. We see DR. Hasan at Phx Chldrns Hsp. He is amazing, that whole staff is. Well I hope we can get to know each other, it's nice to know others that live close by.

Hi Kelly.....I believe you are a part of the wvparentsoftype1kids on yahoo groups. ??? I am Kelly (29) and I live in Phoenix (peoria) too!! I was diagnosed Type 1 in March 2006, and 9months later my 6yr old Maddison was diagnosed. How old is your child? Hope to hear from you soon!

Welcome, Kelly!! I used to live in Phoenix myself. That is where I was diagnosed. I used to go to Dr. Dolinar's endocrinology practice. You know him?

Hi Kelly.

Welcome to the parents of kids with type 1 group.

My son, Riley, was diagnosed when he was 3. He is 5 now and on an Animas insulin pump.
