To sleep with the pump you could just put it under your pillow. Or clip it to the waistband of your pajama pants, or put it into the pocket of the pants, if your wear those. Or I've often slept with it lying in bed beside me. You'd be surprised how well any of these techniques work.
Good luck with your first night on the pump.
