Life is good here. I've been blogging almost every day, but sometimes forget about tu (tu, not you!). Being a Barrister in London area sounds cool--to an American, at least, it sounds very British, very classy. hahah...that's lame, I know!
Anyway, I hope you're enjoying the weekend. What does a young(ish) bloke do for fun in London? I was there once after college, but I was with my stepfather and my grandfather, so, well, y'know, we couldn't do the same things a 21 year would do if alone.
:) Cheers, and keep in touch! Delete Comment
A Barrister... I'm totally impressed!
Danke for the friend request.
Good to see someone from across the pond, and to refresh my Queen's English from time to time, stiff upper lip and all!
(See, although I'm a U.S Citizen, my roots are in India, where I had a propah British education. I started my career with BAT(British AmericanTobacco) in Millbank, and totally dug cricket matches over the weekends with warm ale, and fish and chips. )
That one got me laughing.
Interesting sit with the pump and insulin. Did you see Michael Moore's movie "SiCKO?" It makes it look like the health care in England and Europe rocks. Made me want to pack up and move to France. :) Guess there are loopholes everywhere. Thanks for the response. Keep in touch!
Why can't you have a pump in England? Would you be able to have one if you paid out of pocket "(not saying that is going to happen, but just curious). I am an American living in Taiwan right now and have to pay for all of my strips out of pocket AND can't get on the pump right now, though a few Taiwanese do have pumps.
hahaha I wasn't looking for worship, but okay. We deserve it. The type 2s get all the press so it's about time we had a little.
I just visited London for the weekend a couple weeks ago. mmmm best Indian food I've ever had. Unfortunately, Indian food is so carborific that I have to take a week's worth of insulin for one meal, but it's worth it.
