I was fascinated by all the women that worked as pirates at one time......Also--I'm reading a book called Reindeer People about the reindeer herders of Siberia. Just read a passage about old graves unearthed with mummified remains covered in tattoos of reindeer and birds. The whole subject of personal ornamentation is fascinating isn't it. Have you seen the amazing book called "Africa Adorned"? Gorgeous. I study it for jewelry inspiration at times.....Be well.....Judith in Portland
