Anybody remember what it was like to be an eighth grader and walk into a classroom and see a substitute teacher? I am subbing for an 8th grade reading teacher today.
I figure my job will be like that of an EMT...after work I will have plenty of stories to tell!

I am going back into the workforce this next week. I haven't had a job in a REALLY long time. Not because I couldn't find one but because it wasn't necessary. I had children and I stayed home with them up until now. So, I passed my background check w/fingerprints and my application and references went through just fine. Tuesday I should have gotten to my dr's appt to pick up my medical records but I didn't. I am so emotional over the situation that I was not "gathered" enough to go. Wednesday was a different story. My sister came into town, and wrecked her car on the way too! (another story), so I thought today would be a good day to go to the office. So I did. Have you ever been in the passenger seat of a driver who you are unsure of their abilities of driving? My dad is a stop and go driver. Meaning you do stomach crunches with your seat belt on unless your seat belt gets smart and stops you before your face hits the dashboard. Do you get the picture, yet?
