A few weeks ago, my friend, Chris, dutifully named my pump "Gizmo." Where the name comes from, I don't really know. But, poor Gizmo did not previously have a name, so it has stuck. My newest A1c. Yay! I went in for my test as scheduled in July and kept putting off going back in for the results. Although, not because I feared the results... I just didn't have time and the new endo refused to tell me the results over the phone or to mail the results to me. Whatever... So, I went in Friday, paid my $30 copay so I could stay for 10 minutes to get my results. I am happy with 6.8. It's definitely better than my previous 8.2! So, I had to have my fingerprints done recently. I showed up at the sheriff's station, gave them my print cards and paid my money. The guy was all cheery and polite.... until I had to show him my hands.
