I'm so sorry I haven't answeres you back but I just now got back on my blog! Well you know us dumb blondes sometimes it takes awhile to figure it out! HA!
Yes I have done alot and if I could afford it I would do more! There is always a younger generation out there that will get this and they need help in getting a cure together. The reason I done alot of it was for my 2 girls to find a cure for them. Now 1 daughter is a Type 1 like me and the other (so far) is doing really good! Now I have a granddaughter and soon another grandchild to worry about getting this. My Type 1 daughter is the mother to a 13 month old now ( BOY I REALLY NEED TO CHANGE THAT BLOG) and she's 4 months pg with my other grandbaby!
question one~..lol.... will things get better when you stop honeymooning or harder?
Oh well, I don't think I'll be allowed a pump for a while anyway, I heard that you had to wait 6 months after diagnosis.
yeah, honeymooning is very odd. on wednesday of this week my insulin needs suddenly dropped and I've cut a total of 5-7 units off of my daily dose. weirdd. but now I've had a couple of nasty highs and my needs seem to be going up again. it's crazy!
do you find the pump makes things a lot easier? I can't decide how I feel about the possibility of having something attached to me the whole time, but getting better control in return. hmm.
emma.
What can I say??? My main reason for doing all this was my 2 little girls (at the time) I wanted to find some kinda cure so they wouldn't get it. Well them and other's. It was great while it lasted but as I've always heard " all good things come to an end". And it did!!! But then again I could be worse off. Atleast right now I can afford to get my meds but who knows what the future holds? Just go with the flow!!!
