I am happy to be your friend. I have not visited Turkey but I hear it is a lovely country. You have done well in managing your D. for so many years. This is encouraging.

Hope to exchange views with you whenever you so desire.

Robert

Hi Burcu, thank you for your invite, I will be happy to be your friend!

Your story is quite amazing, but it seems you have made the best of it in spite of all the bumps in the road of D-management. I also think that it is cool to have yet another D-contact with Swedish connections (Chrissie in Belgium have lived in Sweden and still has family there), it sort of moves the diabetes online community closer to my home country :-)

not a problem :)
and thanks, it goes good.
I don't know anyone here with diabetes, but I think pump therapy is quite common by judging what my health provider tells me.

Hi Burcu,
I'm indeed in the Netherlands, in Den Haag, but I'm not Nicole, I'm Sasha :)

Hehe, yeah Rotterdam is pretty cool. 45min south of Amsterdam, I was just there last night actually.

Yeah the health-care here is amazing, I get everything covered basically free. I'm on the Insulin pens at the moment :-)

Hey Burcu,

No problem. Currently I'm up in the Netherlands, in Rotterdam. Cool place indeed, but I'm originally from San Diego, California / Hawaii.
