Hello Araby. You have an incredible A1c and many years of experience taking MDIs. I could really learn a lot from you :)

Hi Amylia,

The TT Smart System is the Walgreens brand meter, made by Home Diagnostics. I got it about 5-6 years ago. It's OK--not sure the results are always accurate though. I've gotten a 75 point difference from one hand to the other and the control levels on the strip bottles are weirdly high. But I do like the data uploading ability. I would never be able to manually enter all those tests! Frankly, though, it was the only one I could afford at the time. I probably need to suck it up and get a new one soon. (I have an old Ascensia Breeze in a drawer somewhere but I'm not sure it works anymore.)

We didn't get as much snow as you all in WI...about 6 inches where we are (by O'Hare). Some of my cousins out in the W & NW suburbs got 10-12" though, so I'm not complaining ;-) Today though it is COLD--all of -1 degree right now!

Take care and stay warm!

Oh, I can finally see what you look like! What a lovely photo. Are you recently married? You look beautiful, and your hubby looks awfully happy, too (heck, he should be!)
